Digital-video-recorder and TV-search company SnapStream launched its newest social TV product last week, SnapStream Express.
SnapStream Express allows users to:
- Search for television shows.
- View tweets and TV shows side-by-side.
- Quickly share moments from TV shows on Facebook or Twitter as screenshots, clips or animated GIF files.
- Record up to two channels of standard-definition or HDTV.
- Store up to 2,400 of recorded TV up to 2 terabytes.
- Watch live or recorded TV on any Mac or PC on the local-area network.
- Create clicks and share them via email with deep links.
SnapStream said its technology is used to prepare TV clips for several political campaigns, as well as shows including The Daily Show, Last Week Tonight with John Oliver and The Colbert Report.
