BuzzFeed Distributed, the social division of the publisher, is gearing up for its upcoming launch with a whole slew of new hires. Two weeks ago, the company announced the addition of six new staffers. Now, BuzzFeed is adding another three new staffers to its New York offices:
- Jeremy Briggs joins as senior producer. He was previously video producer at Twitter and co-founder of Origiful, a production company that makes Vines for brands.
- Adam J. Kurtz joins as social web artist. He was most recently a designer for Barton F. Graf, he recently released a book/journal. Kurtz starts Nov. 11.
- Mike Hinson also joins the team as social web artist. He’s an illustrator that has designed his own set of characters known as Goon Wars and is a master of GIFs.
