Budbud

International bus travel site Busbud has announced the relaunch of its iOS app, offering new features for consumers looking to find and book bus travel across four continents. The app features over 325,000 bus routes worldwide, and has launched with full coverage in Mexico, bringing an additional 14,400 intercity travel options to users in North America.

BusbudBusbud is designed to help users find and purchase the best bus tickets for their needs, and tracks over one million departures each week from 1,500 operators, including Greyhound, Megabus and Boltbus. Users can browse and purchase tickets across North and South America, Europe and Africa, with support for purchasing tickets in four languages (English, French, Spanish and Portuguese).

The app allows users to keep track of their travel history and trip details, as well as view drop-off and pick-up location schedules for routes, including maps.

In a statement, Busbud CEO and co-founder, LP Maurice, commented on the platform:

Busbud gives travelers a seamless process for finding the best bus route options anywhere in the world for their schedule and budget. We’ve seen how valuable apps can be for the travel industry, and we are looking to provide that same type of service for the global bus travel economy. The Busbud app will be the first mobile companion of its kind on a worldwide scale, giving travelers quick and easy access to bus travel.

Busbud is available to download for free on the iTunes App Store. The app is one of many mobile options for bus travel, including Wanderu and GotoBus, among others.
