Microsoft Launches Sprightly Digital Content Creation App on iOS

Following its release on Android in February, Microsoft released Sprightly on iOS. The Microsoft Garage application was designed to help small and midsized businesses create digital content without the need to hire designers.

The Sprightly app allows users to create fliers, catalogs, price lists, e-cards and coupons. Users first select a template in one of these categories, and then add one or more images, based on the chosen template. Users can import images from their camera roll or take new pictures within the app, and they can change the cropping of each image once it has been added to the template.

Once pictures have been added, users can add their own text, such as their business' contact information or a product's description or price. The app limits the number of characters users can type in each text area.

Finally, users can instantly switch between templates in the same category while they're working, in order to see how their text and images appear in different layouts.

When an image is complete, users can save the image to their camera roll and share it to social media or send it to others directly. Users can also edit finished projects within the app if they need to change content later on.

Sprightly is available to download for free on the iTunes App Store.
