Snapchat got a pass to pit row from NASCAR, with Live Stories accompanying two upcoming Sprint Cup races.
The auto-racing organization and the application announced that fans will be able to contribute to Live Stories from the Bank of America 500 at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, N.C., Oct. 8 and the Ford EcoBoost 400 at Homestead Miami Speedway in Homestead, Fla., Nov. 20, when the Sprint Cup championship will be decided.
Snapchat will curate video and photo snaps from fans at both races into Live Stories, which will be viewable for 24 hours.
The agreement covering the Bank of America 500 and Ford EcoBoost 400 follows the first partnership between NASCAR and Snapchat earlier this year, for the Daytona 500 and the Geico 500.
NASCAR senior vice president and chief marketing officer Jill Gregory said in a release announcing the pact:
There's no experience in sports quite like attending a NASCAR race, especially during the Chase. Snapchat's Live Stories coverage provides young audiences with a unique, behind-the-scenes look at the real Chase race experience through the lens of our fans and drivers.
NASCAR fans: Will you check out Snapchat's Live Stories for the Bank of America 500 and Ford EcoBoost 400?
