Supercell released the latest update for its multiplayer strategy game Clash Royale. The update adds tournaments to the game, which allow users to battle nearby players for a chance to win tournament chests.
In Clash Royale, players compete in head-to-head multiplayer matches with the goal of destroying the enemy's towers before their own towers can be destroyed. Users can collect a variety of troops for their armies as they progress.
With this update, users can participate in tournaments once they reach level eight. As players compete in tournaments, they can climb the tournament leaderboard for a chance to win tournament chests. The largest tournament chests are guaranteed to contain legendary cards.
Elsewhere, users can unlock new achievements by competing in tournaments.
In addition to tournaments and new achievements, this update includes four new cards: Ice Spirit (common), Bowler (epic), Lumberjack (legendary) and The Log (legendary). Users can also now sort their card collections by arena, elixir cost and rarity.
Finally, users can compete in a new Frozen Peak arena, which unlocks once they have earned 2,300 Trophies. Gamers can earn trophies by competing in multiplayer battles.
Clash Royale is available to download for free on the iTunes App Store and Google Play.
