EA has launched a new Thanksgiving-themed content update in The Simpsons: Tapped Out on mobile devices. Called ‘Gobble, Gobble, Toil and Trouble,’ the update challenges players to help Homer judge the Springfield Fowl Face-Off to determine which character has made the best Thanksgiving dinner.
This update contains a new quest series to complete, and will allow players to tap on turkeys walking around Springfield to collect drumsticks. Gamers must collect these drumsticks in bulk as part of the event’s quest line, and will receive a themed prize after completing each quest. These prizes include a new job for Homer to complete, new decorations and more. Players can collect extra drumsticks by making characters complete specific jobs.
In addition, the game’s store has been updated with themed items. These items will be available for a limited time, and include premium decorations like a Bart Balloon and Caged Tom Turkey, among others, as well as two premium buildings.
The first building is Caesar’s Pow-Wow Casino, which is priced at 150 Donuts. This building comes with the Tribal Chief character, and helps players earn drumsticks faster. The other option is the Piggly’s Super Smorg building, which costs 140 Donuts, and includes the Jacqueline Bouvier character (Marge’s mother).
This Thanksgiving event is split into multiple parts, and will be available until December 1. The Simpsons: Tapped Out is available to download for free on the iTunes App Store, Google Play and the Amazon Appstore.
