SINGAPORE — If politics isn't your thing this election season, maybe some humourous haiku will change your mind.
Haiku Party was recently set up to collect haiku submissions from people about the upcoming elections. Some are funny, some poignant and many take digs at the incumbent People's Action Party (PAP), which has held power since it won the 1959 election.
(If you're not from Singapore, the PAP's symbol is a lightning bolt, and the opposition Workers' Party's is a hammer. That's where all the Thor jokes are coming from.)
