Tourist who snapped selfie at deadly NYC explosion apparently landed a DNC job

Just a few months after a social media mishap, Christina Freundlich, one of numerous tourists who snapped photos in front of a deadly gas explosion in New York City's East Village in March, has reportedly landed a new job as a spokesperson for the Democratic National Committee

Freundlich took a selfie in front of the accident scene with the caption "Scene of the accident," followed by a peace sign emoji. The image gained national attention after she posted it to Instagram; Freundlich later deleted the image and her Instagram account has been set to private.
